Technical assistance
Local authorities wishing to benefit support from the FMDV have to become FMDV members.
The FMDV proposes technical assistance and/or funding search support for the urban development projects of its members.
Technical assistance
The FMDV provides support to its members for the urban development project the lead. .
This support may be proposed for the entire project process from design and planning, to funding, implementation and assessment.
Technical assistance may be provided by other FMDV members, by the FMDV Secretariat itself, or by external local or international expertise identified as having relevant skills for the project.
Support must be applied for by the member local authority, by completing the project submission template to allow the project to be presented to the Project Selection Committee which meets as least once annually. [download the Project submission template]
Technical assistance can be requested for a specific project action. Taking place over a limited period, the action must require short-term expertise on an action of a project led by a member. The application must be addressed to the FMDV Secretariat which will study the feasibility of the request and, if applicable, set up the expertise.
